Punkora is born the summer of the 98, with a formation totally different from the present one. Like almost all band, it is born by the intention to pass it well, to express themselves, to touch, to sing, to shout. It is born as a form to canalize an energy, and the selected form, by dominion or not to know another one, were music.

Good, although in a beginning the band is only one forms totally valid of entretenciA³n, also the intention existed to say something more important than a poop attack or to explain a borrachera. The first subjects told on that panfletario touch that it characterizes the punk. Playful subjects as Superdotado and DDP were combined with more social others like Politicians, the Song Of the Rencore or Police Represio'n.

The first tocata was in San Miguel, and of in ahead the places they have varied there. They have not been so many as we would like, because one always has desire to touch in thousands of places, but we have at least left Santiago already several times and the reception of people has been so positive that they give desire us to always leave. Also we have been pleasant to touch with great bands, local as as much foreign, even with bands that we admired when not even it had been happened to us to have a group.

Although the band began with a merely recreational objective (therefore I, years it see later), we have taken a libertario ideological course, being understood this by something more than to wish the freedom, but to fight by her. We understand the freedom like the practice of the equality, the respect, the love, leaning, being included/understood, being interested, fighting to live peacefully.

We attacked the hierarchies, the sexism, the authoritarianism, therefore the militarismo, the xenophobia (product of the exacerbado nationalism), homofobia, and demases aberrations that they have like objective to maintain all equal one. Of course to attack this is not only from a microphone and already, to shout slogans is only a little more difficult that to listen to them, but if they do not go actually accompanied, they are only empty words, only pretty phrases, that is, nothing else that that.

We have taken like music the punk, hardcore punk, sometimes I touch harmonious and sometimes no, everything depends on which quicimos and we want to do; of our tastes, our influences, our moods. If at some future date we are making sauce, heavy metal, pop or axAⓒ, comes to give the same and we are not created in the necessity to give explanations to nobody.

Punkora we have made several independent works already, and hoped to follow by this way that as much satisfaction has given us.
