Hello there !

This site is about anarchism, for and by anarchists worldwide. Hopefully it will be a resource and a community place where people can get together and organize, or just make friends with like minded people.

First of the site consists of actually several sites linked together, One site for each language. Each site is identical but designed specifically for the language and people. in Effect the french site is for the french speaking world, and the english is for the english speaking world, however both linked together.

This Project was started by me, Andre Dahl A long time ago. It started out as a simple start page for myself and a few friends, and from there the idea developed into a larger site with a wider focus on anarchism, not just another message board to discuss theories only.

The site is a independent project not associated directly to any organization or group, and I think it's important that the site try to remain somewhat neutral in this way. However I offer space in our forums for groups and organizations, a own area where the organizations may discuss private issues or present news and information to visitors and members alike.

The 3monkeyz Forums is quite a huge forum, I tried to build a messageboard that covers most anarchists and peoples interests, so the forums is not only about anarchism but also music movie, comics and much much more, I recomend you check it out, as this is our online community area, with exception of the chat

The Direct Action Messageboards is a area where people and organizations may post upcoming actions/events, like demonstrations, workshops, meetings, bookfairs, Lectures, parties, well any event that they wish to inform other anarchists about. Notice that it has a seperate membership than the forums so you need to sign up seperately for this messageboard, It is unfortunatly organized after country and regions.

The Chat Rooms, is where you can meet other anarchists and chat live, a good place to hold meetings and gatherings. it is a Flash chat Server, that we host on our server. And remember everyones welcome and respect others as you want them to respect you. Also the Chat is divided into rooms specific for each language.

I had alot of positive feedback from people, and some negative too. One reason to build this website, as some argued on libcom is like reinventing the wheel, is to spread awarness and give anarchists and libertarians more possibilities to come together and organize. if I have reinvented the wheel, then we need to reinvent the wheel many more times, to spread awarness and create more anarchist websites and communities on the internet. This is vital to counter the False propaganda about what anarchism is. In this regard I find it important that anarchists support each other more and work in unity, and most importantly get together. And all these communities and websites need to link to each other and create contact beetween ourselves. This is some of what I have tried to do on 3monkeyz.

I am hoping to build up a team of anarchists from around the world that is interested in building a open community, and a resource place to find books, music, movies and more. You may have noticed that there are Google ads on the site, no its not to fund my beer budget, but rather to reduce the costs of hosting and developing the site. Also a thought about google ads, as it gives relevant ads to the site in general, it also gives other anarchists the possibility to have their links shown on the site, though paying for it, but in doing so also supporting the project.
